Alana Adler, LCSW, MAT

Alana Adler is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who specializes in providing evidence-based therapy for children and families. She is highly trained and experienced in supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, ADHD, ASD, depression, social issues, self-esteem, and challenging behaviors at home or school. In addition, Alana partners with parents to help navigate the complexities of raising emotionally resilient children. Alana’s mission is to provide sustainable and effective interventions tailored to today's real-world parenting, aiming to equip and empower parents with practical tools and techniques. 

Alana received her B.A. in Psychology from Barnard College and her MSW from New York University, with a focus on Children and Families. In addition, she holds a Master’s in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education. Throughout her career, Alana has worked with a diverse population of children, adolescents, and their parents, in community, school, and hospital-based settings. She fuses her extensive training in play therapy, school social work, child development, and parent coaching to best meet the unique needs of each client. Alana served as the founding School Social Worker at a private school in Westchester, providing counseling, support, and coaching to students, teachers, and parents. She has developed social-emotional curricula and collaborated with administrators, teachers, occupational, physical and speech therapists, psychiatrists, and pediatricians to ensure comprehensive and holistic care. Alana has also supported students academically, providing intensive tutoring to help students develop and strengthen executive functioning, frustration tolerance, and self-esteem.
